Who this suits

Travelers who want the headline sites plus a taste of the biblical King’s Highway route, with a more relaxed pace than the three-day version.

Seasonal considerations

Spring and autumn are ideal. The King’s Highway is scenic year-round but best in green spring.

Practical advice

  • Taking the King’s Highway on Day 2 adds time but is far more scenic than the Desert Highway.
  • Three nights: Amman, Wadi Musa, Wadi Rum camp (or Wadi Musa again).
  • The Wadi Rum camp night is a highlight — bring warm layers for the desert evening.
  • Jordan Pass covers Petra, Jerash and Mount Nebo entrances.
